ENIGMA OF SECRETS

Duhai Sahabat!

Please make no error, as too many do, in understanding the state of Man, in relation to his Lord,
as depicted through the following Puisi/Poetry, entitled:


ENIGMA OF SECRETS

A firefly flits about the flame,
Curiously captive by the lure of light,
The majesty of the object it yearns to tame,
Drunken in desires right thru' the night.

Completely subdued 'till morn draws near,
To its fellows the firefly finally returns,
Relates its state so they can hear,
Intrigue tales in eloquent expressions.

Satisfied not with early encounter,
Ritual repeat'd the following night,
Since light nor heat beckons not sweet surrender,
To the coquetry of the flame it leaps with all might.

Meanwhile its fellows lie in wait, forlornly,
To partake in direct visions instead of mere heresay,
But utterly consumed, formless and obliterated,
In what sense can it now return, unfettered.

In what state the firefly is at present, you'd wonder,
For he who has arrived needs expressions no more,
For he who arrives at his object of vision,
Doth dispense with vision as not his concern.

O you men of intelligence!
Hearken and heed the meaning of these,
'Tis no concern to men of negligence,
Nor to the transitory, nor the whim and fancies.

O you men of uncertainty!
Identify not 'I am' with that of Divinity,
Doth not the present, the past nor the futures be,
' Though consumated in Him, you are not He!

Alas - if you'd understood, you'd remain,
A perfect gnosis you'd attain,
Unto you life's destiny woven,
You are the object and reason,
- for all creation!
